Rooted in the tradition of American soul while embracing folk, gospel, and pop influences, the album brings together legendary collaborators including Michael McDonald, David Sanborn, Isaiah Sharkey, Dylan McDonald, and The High Rhythm Section. Recorded in St. Louis, the project is a vibrant tribute to the city’s rich musical heritage—one that spans generations and styles.

“I'm always excited to work with my dad, Dylan and Mike, but I’ve never had the chance to get everyone on a project together,” said Brian Owens. “The opportunity to get the four of us on this song—which so beautifully encapsulates the prayer of a parent for his child—was a blessing beyond measure. What's more, to record it in St. Louis with some of the best cats in the country was icing on the cake. It was a special moment for all of us that we won't soon forget.”
